Ruff Ruff Where Are You??

Colette lost her "Ruff Ruff" the other day--er, excuse me, Ruff Ruff is visiting Grandpa and Oma. Thank goodness Ruff Ruff has millions of siblings at Ikea. It has been a heartbreaking experience...for Daddy and Mommy...

Colette's 2nd Easter

After church, Colette went about the house searching for Easter eggs. She had more fun finding them than we thought she would. She especially loved throwing them into her Easter basket. Suffice it to say, we had to eat some cracked ones right away. So here, also, is a picture of her eating her Easter egg.

Pixie Girl

Colette's usually draping a little blanket over head, and a purse over her shoulder with boots on her hands and walking proudly around the house. So I decided to try this little Tinker Bell outfit. Perhaps not as creative but look at how cute.

Christmas Pics

Here are the very belated Christmas pictures I've been saying were coming. These pictures are from Christmas Eve after the church service and Colette is dressed up in an outfit I didn't want to ever take her out of. She was infatuated with the tree this year and was very good about not pulling ornaments off. We had a nice family Christmas this year as we started our own traditions.

Little Football Fan

Colette, much to our delight, loves football. She shrieks at the t.v. when a game is on, clapping and laughing. And she loves playing with a football half her size.

I'M Winnie the Pooh!

Colette dressed up as her favorite character this year--Winnie the Pooh! And though her "Nana Babe" was concerned she would develop a Winnie complex, I think Colette handled her new identity quite well. So Daddy and Mommy took her to the Fall Carnival at church and she "fished" for gifts and collected goodies in her Hunny Pot. She had LOTS of fun walking around the carnival showing off her treats and Daddy and Mommy had a hard time keeping up with her fast little legs!

Happy Birthday Colette!

Colette's 1st birthday was May 21 and she had a wonderful time celebrating with friends, Daddy, Mommy and Grandmommy. Colette dressed in her special balloon birthday dress and got to eat her first taste of sugar: her butterfly cupcake. She had so much fun during the party and she knew it was for her, too. I can't believe my little baby is a year old already...

Miss Colette Elise dressed up to go to her very first birthday party. She behaved very politely as she sat in Daddy or Mommy's lap sucking her thumb observing the crowd.

For those of you missing out on seeing Colette's feedings, you're missing quite an event. She enjoys her foods, but what she likes most is spitting them onto Daddy or Mommy. I don't bother changing my clothes anymore after a feeding and figure the green splattered all over me is similar to when I'm painting and have paint splattered on me.
